Deco desires

With a cross country move and new home in our near future, the idea of decorating has me excited.  It will be so hard to leave our little dollhouse behind, as we have so many memories here.  Bringing both babies home for the first time, watching them learn to ride bikes in the driveway, pools and sprinklers in the backyard, helping me water the flowers all summer...you get the picture.  I also feel like I have finally developed my sense of decorating style and what kind of home decor works for our family.  Less is definitely more and helps me keep things neat and tidy, which helps me feel more in control.  As I think about the grey winters in Seattle, it leaves me wanting to stick with bright whites on the walls, lots of pretty lighting/chandeliers, cozy couches, blankets and rugs, and oversized green plants. Oh so much to dream about...
