Over the knee boots

I dusted off my over the knee boots the other day and started thinking about the best way to style them.  I bought this pair back in 2008!!!!  I hadn't really seen anyone else wear them before but I saw them in the Steve Madden store and thought they were so cool and different!  Many years later, you still see them everywhere.   The Nordstrom site has a whole page dedicated to them even now!  (Check it out here)

Personally, if I go for the over the knee boot, I keep everything else very understated.  The boots are quite a statement, and you don't want to overdo it or look like you're trying to hard.  Let them speak for themselves.  A simple dress looks great with them.  Your favorite tee and jeans.  Or maybe with a cozy, loose sweater dress in the fall.  I am getting excited for fall...can't you tell??
