Modified top knot

Anyone who knows me is well aware of the fact that I never wear my hair up. Neither does my daughter. We both wear it down almost every day. I do curl it, but admit I am not very adventurous with my hair. This summer I tried to branch out a bit to get my hair up and out of my face. Enter the half up top knot. It's the perfect solution for someone like me who generally likes their hair down. I just feel more feminine and pretty with it down for some reason. Some days though, I need it to be up and out of my face a bit more. I tend to like my top knot with a little bit of curl through the bottom of my hair to dress it up a bit and make it feel more purposeful and "done." It's so easy, just wrap it around a hair tie and maybe secure it with 1 or 2 bobby pins, and you're all set!
